Please read these terms carefully before using our platform.

1. Introduction

Welcome to SocietyManagementApp (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and web application located at: societymanagementapp.com. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

SocietyManagementApp is a web-based software platform designed to help Housing societies, Apartment associations, RWAs (Resident Welfare Associations), and Property administrators manage:

  • Maintenance billing
  • Accounting & ledger
  • Payments
  • Visitor management
  • Amenities booking
  • Notifications
  • Reports and records

We provide software only. We do not manage societies directly.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, have authority to represent your housing society, and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for maintaining account credentials.

4. Account Responsibility

The society administrator is fully responsible for user management, data accuracy, maintenance amounts entered, financial records, and payment entries. We are not responsible for incorrect data entered by users.

5. Payments & Subscription

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually. All payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to modify pricing with prior notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of services. We are not responsible for payment gateway failures, bank delays, or UPI/card network issues.

6. No Financial Advisory

SocietyManagementApp is not a bank, financial advisor, legal advisor, or accounting firm. We provide software tools only. Societies must verify financial data independently.

7. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-entered financial data, legal compliance of society records, or government filing accuracy. Users are solely responsible for compliance with local laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocietyManagementApp shall not be liable for financial loss, data loss, revenue loss, society disputes, member conflicts, legal claims between residents, or indirect/consequential damages. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer in the last 3 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SocietyManagementApp from any legal claims, lawsuits, government penalties, tax issues, or resident disputes arising from your use of the software.

10. Service Availability

We do not guarantee 100% uptime, error-free operation, or continuous availability. Maintenance or technical downtime may occur.

11. Data Backup

While we maintain backups, users are encouraged to maintain independent backups of important financial records. We are not responsible for accidental data deletion by administrators.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if Terms are violated, illegal activity is detected, or payments are not made. You may cancel your subscription at any time.

13. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, logos, and system design are owned by SocietyManagementApp. Users may not reverse engineer, resell, copy the software, or create competing systems based on our platform.

14. Advertising Disclaimer

SocietyManagementApp is an independent software provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook, Instagram) or Google LLC. Any advertisements shown via these platforms are independent marketing campaigns.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Surat, Gujarat, India.

The software is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.
